Chiranjeevi’s Megaverse
Megastar Chiranjeevi is taking on a new role beyond the big screen. Netflix has officially announced Chiranjeevi’s Megaverse, a new talk show that will bring the Telugu superstar face-to-face with personalities from the world of cinema.
The announcement marks Chiranjeevi’s Netflix debut as a host, with the show promising candid conversations, personal anecdotes and stories connected to the journey of Telugu cinema. Filming is already underway, although Netflix has not announced the streaming date yet.
What Is Chiranjeevi’s Megaverse?
Chiranjeevi’s Megaverse is being presented as a conversation-based show celebrating the legacy, legends and larger-than-life stories of Telugu cinema.
Instead of playing a fictional character, Chiranjeevi will sit on the other side of the conversation and interact with people who have been part of the film industry.
Netflix’s announcement describes Chiranjeevi as the emotional anchor of the series, with his long association with cinema expected to shape the conversations.
The show is designed to reveal a more personal side of the actor while exploring stories from the Telugu film industry’s past and present.
Chiranjeevi Turns Talk-Show Host Again
This isn’t Chiranjeevi’s first experience as a television host.
The actor previously hosted Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, the Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The fourth season, hosted by Chiranjeevi, premiered in December 2016.
With Megaverse, however, he is moving into a completely different format. Rather than a quiz-based programme, the Netflix series will focus on conversations and stories from the film industry.
Who Will Appear on Megaverse?
Netflix has not officially announced the complete guest lineup yet.
However, multiple reports say that Brahmanandam, Sunil and Satya are among the first guests expected to appear on the show. Reports also indicate that Chiranjeevi has already filmed an episode featuring the three actors.
These reports should be treated as reported information until Netflix officially confirms the guest list.
The combination of Chiranjeevi with three of Telugu cinema’s popular comic performers could make the opening episode particularly entertaining.
What Can Fans Expect From the Show?
The exact episode format has not been revealed, but the official description points toward conversations, personal experiences and stories from Telugu cinema.
Viewers can potentially expect discussions around:
- Chiranjeevi’s long journey in Telugu cinema
- Stories involving legendary actors and filmmakers
- Behind-the-scenes experiences
- Personal memories from different stages of his career
- Humorous incidents from film sets
- Conversations with actors from different generations
- Lesser-known stories about the Telugu film industry
The focus appears to be less on a conventional celebrity interview and more on creating an intimate look at the people and stories behind Telugu cinema.
Why Netflix Chose Chiranjeevi
Chiranjeevi has spent more than four decades at the centre of Telugu cinema and has built a following across multiple generations.
His career includes films such as Khaidi, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, Gharana Mogudu, Indra, Tagore and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
That long association with the industry gives him a unique advantage as a host. He has personally worked with several generations of actors, directors, technicians and producers, potentially allowing conversations to go beyond standard promotional interviews.
Netflix’s announcement specifically highlights his passion for cinema, warmth and connection with the people of the industry.
Megaverse Is Already Being Filmed
The project is no longer just in the announcement stage.
Netflix has confirmed that filming is currently underway. Reports say Chiranjeevi began shooting the talk show while also continuing work on his upcoming film Kaaka.
The production banners behind the series are Gold Box Entertainments, Atom Media Ventures and Sol Production LLP.
When Will Megaverse Release on Netflix?
At the moment, Netflix has not announced an official release date.
The platform has only described the show as “coming soon.” Therefore, reports suggesting a specific month should not be treated as confirmed until Netflix provides the official date.

How Is Megaverse Different From Other Telugu Talk Shows?
Telugu audiences are already familiar with celebrity talk shows.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Unstoppable on Aha became particularly popular for its combination of celebrity conversations, humour and unexpected revelations. Other actors have also experimented with conversation-based formats.
Chiranjeevi’s Megaverse enters the same space but has a different selling point: the host himself is one of the biggest personalities in Telugu cinema.
That gives the show an unusual dynamic. Chiranjeevi won’t simply be interviewing celebrities as an outsider; he has decades of personal connections and experiences with many of the people who could appear on the programme.
What Happens Next?
The immediate focus will be on Netflix announcing the official premiere date and complete guest lineup.
With filming already in progress, more information could emerge as the platform begins its promotional campaign.
If the reported first guests are confirmed, Brahmanandam, Sunil and Satya could provide a lighter and comedy-driven opening to the series before later episodes explore conversations with major actors, directors and other industry personalities.
For now, the biggest confirmed update is simple: Chiranjeevi is officially entering the Netflix talk-show space with Megaverse, and filming has already begun.
For Telugu cinema fans, the attraction is not just seeing Chiranjeevi on Netflix. It is getting to hear the Megastar talk about the people, memories and stories behind one of India’s biggest film industries.
