Nani’s The Paradise has already completed several weeks of its theatrical run, and attention is now shifting toward its digital release. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the action drama brought Nani back together with the director after Dasara and opened in cinemas on September 24, 2026.
The movie has Netflix as its post-theatrical streaming partner. However, there is an important update for fans waiting for the OTT premiere: October 23, 2026 is being widely reported as the expected Netflix release date, but it has not yet been officially confirmed by Netflix or the filmmakers.

Is October 23 the confirmed OTT date?
Several reports have started mentioning October 23, 2026 as the possible Netflix premiere date. However, as of now, there has been no official announcement from Netflix or the movie’s makers confirming October 23.
Some reports suggest that the film’s theatrical-to-OTT agreement could allow streaming after a relatively short window. If the reported date is finalized, audiences could watch the movie on Netflix from October 23. Until an official announcement arrives, it is better to treat the date as expected rather than confirmed.
What Is The Paradise About?
Set in 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise follows a marginalized community facing discrimination and social oppression. Nani plays Jadal, a man who emerges as an important figure for his people.
The story combines action, political tension and social conflict, with Jadal becoming caught in a dangerous struggle against powerful forces. The movie explores themes of inequality, identity, survival and rebellion while presenting them through a raw period-action setting.
Nani described the film as ultimately being connected to a mother-and-son relationship, adding another emotional layer to the action-heavy story.
The Paradise Cast
Nani leads the film as Jadal, while the cast includes several prominent actors.
- Nani as Jadal
- Kayadu Lohar as Subbulakshmi
- Mohan Babu as Shikanja Maalik
- Raghav Juyal as Vikram Maalik
- Sonali Kulkarni as Sammakka
- Sampoornesh Babu
- Priyadarshi
- Tanikella Bharani
- Keerthy Suresh in a special appearance
The combination of Nani, Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal gives the film a strong ensemble, while Srikanth Odela once again brings a raw, intense world similar in spirit to his earlier collaboration with Nani.
Srikanth Odela and Nani Reunite After Dasara
One of the biggest reasons for the anticipation around The Paradise was the reunion of Nani and Srikanth Odela.
The duo previously worked together on Dasara, a rural action drama that became a major success. The Paradise takes their collaboration in a different direction with a period setting, a darker social backdrop and a larger-scale action narrative.
The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas banner, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
The Paradise OTT Version Could Be Different
Reports have suggested that Nani is personally paying attention to the OTT cut following feedback on the theatrical version. There has also been speculation that the Netflix version could contain additional footage or changes, although such details should be treated as reports rather than confirmed information.
Nani has publicly acknowledged that feedback about the film’s editing and narrative has been discussed, while reports about unseen footage continue to circulate.
So, if the OTT version does contain additional material, viewers may get a slightly different experience compared with the theatrical cut.
The Paradise Box Office Performance
Despite receiving a mixed response from audiences and critics, The Paradise has continued to perform strongly commercially.
According to a Times of India report published October 15, the film had reached approximately ₹173.41 crore worldwide after 21 days, including around ₹142.26 crore gross from India and ₹31.15 crore from overseas markets.
These figures are reported box-office numbers and can vary between tracking sources.
When Can You Watch The Paradise on Netflix?
If the currently reported schedule turns out to be correct, The Paradise could begin streaming on Netflix on October 23, 2026.
However, October 23 should not yet be presented as a confirmed OTT release date. Netflix and the makers have not officially announced the date, and the theatrical run is still continuing.
For now, the safest information is:
Netflix — Confirmed OTT Partner
October 23, 2026 — Reported/Expected Date
Once Netflix officially announces the premiere, the date can be updated accordingly.
