The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest was released in theatres on September 25, 2026. After completing its theatrical window, the film is now preparing for its digital release.
According to the latest reports, the movie is expected to arrive on Amazon Prime Video. November 6 has been reported as the possible initial rental date, while November 20 is being reported as the date for regular Prime subscribers.
This means viewers who want to watch the movie through their normal Prime subscription may have to wait until November 20, if the reported schedule is followed.
The Vvaan OTT Platform
The digital streaming platform for The Vvaan is Amazon Prime Video. The platform was identified as the film’s streaming partner, although the makers and Prime Video had not officially announced the complete OTT schedule in the latest reports.
The reported November 20 availability is therefore best treated as an expected Prime subscription date, rather than an officially confirmed premiere date.
The Vvaan OTT Languages
The film is primarily a Hindi-language fantasy thriller, and reports around its OTT availability have also pointed to a Telugu version.
This gives the movie an opportunity to reach both Hindi-speaking viewers and audiences who prefer watching the film in Telugu.
Expected OTT languages:
- Hindi
- Telugu
Viewers should check the Prime Video listing at the time of release for the final audio and subtitle options.
What Is The Vvaan About?
The story follows Rishi, played by Sidharth Malhotra, a rational and city-bred man who returns to his ancestral village along with his wife Mamta, played by Tamannaah Bhatia.
The village has a mysterious forest known as Dev Van. Local people believe that the forest is sacred and that nobody should enter it after sunset.
Rishi does not initially believe in these warnings. But after entering the forbidden forest, he encounters strange supernatural events that challenge everything he believes about logic and folklore.
The story combines fantasy, Indian folklore, mystery, suspense and supernatural elements, with the forest becoming central to the conflict.
The Vvaan Cast
The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles.
The supporting cast includes:
- Sidharth Malhotra as Rishi
- Tamannaah Bhatia as Mamta
- Sunil Grover
- Shweta Tiwari
- Anup Soni
- Maniesh Paul
- Durgesh Kumar
The film is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, with Arunabh Kumar associated with the writing. It is produced by Ektaa Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and others under the associated production banners.
Why The Vvaan Could Find an OTT Audience
The film’s supernatural setting could work differently on streaming compared with its theatrical run.
The central idea of a mysterious forest, local folklore and a supernatural force gives The Vvaan a genre that can attract viewers looking for fantasy thrillers and Indian folklore-based stories.
Its OTT release also gives audiences who missed the theatrical run an opportunity to discover the film.
The Vvaan OTT Release: What Is Confirmed?
At present, the safest way to look at the reported schedule is:

OTT Platform: Amazon Prime Video
Early OTT: November 6, 2026 — reported as a possible rental release
Prime Subscription: November 20, 2026 — reported/expected

Multiple reports have mentioned November 6 for the initial digital release, while the latest listing reports November 20 as the date when regular Prime subscribers could stream it without the separate rental arrangement.
Final Word
The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is heading to Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical release. For viewers waiting for the movie to become part of the regular Prime subscription, November 20, 2026 is currently the reported date to watch for.
However, because Prime Video has not yet provided a final official announcement for the complete OTT schedule, November 20 should currently be described as expected, not confirmed.
If the reported schedule holds, viewers can look forward to watching Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s fantasy thriller in Hindi and Telugu on Prime Video.
