The surprise blockbuster Hanuman Ansh is finally heading to Telugu theatres. After creating a major impact at the Hindi box office, the spiritual drama is set to get a worldwide Telugu release on October 9, 2026.
The Telugu release is being handled by Hombale Films, the production house known for films such as KGF, Kantara and Salaar. The banner has also been involved in the international distribution of Hanuman Ansh.
Hanuman Ansh Telugu Release Date
The makers have officially confirmed that Hanuman Ansh will release in Telugu on October 9, 2026.
The Telugu version was previously expected to arrive on September 18, but that plan did not materialise. Hombale Films has now announced the October 9 date and released a new poster for the Telugu audience.
The movie will be released worldwide in Telugu, giving audiences in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and other markets an opportunity to watch the film on the big screen.
Why Is Hanuman Ansh Special?
Hanuman Ansh has emerged as one of the year’s biggest surprise successes.
The film was made on a relatively small budget of around ₹2 crore, but its theatrical performance has been extraordinary. Recent reports put its worldwide gross above ₹420 crore, making its success one of the biggest talking points in Indian cinema this year.
What makes the success more interesting is that the movie did not begin with a huge opening. Positive word of mouth helped the film gain momentum and continue its theatrical run for several weeks.
What Is Hanuman Ansh About?
Directed and written by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is a spiritual drama inspired by the life and journey of Neem Karoli Baba.
The story follows Lakshmi Narayan, a young man whose life takes a spiritual turn following the death of his mother. His journey eventually leads him towards becoming the revered spiritual figure known as Neem Karoli Baba.
The film focuses on themes such as faith, devotion, spirituality and personal transformation rather than following the usual commercial-cinema formula.
Who Stars in Hanuman Ansh?
Shobhinaw Satyaa plays the central role, portraying the spiritual figure at the heart of the story.
The cast also includes Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Vihaan Shedge, among others. Vishal Chaturvedi has handled both the writing and direction.
Hombale Films Takes Hanuman Ansh to Telugu Audiences
The Telugu release is particularly notable because of Hombale Films’ involvement.
The banner has previously backed major Indian films including the KGF franchise, Kantara and Salaar. For Hanuman Ansh, Hombale Films is expanding the film’s reach into the Telugu market after being associated with its overseas distribution.
The production house announced the Telugu release through its social-media channels along with a new Telugu poster.
Hanuman Ansh Telugu Release: What to Expect
The film’s huge Hindi-language theatrical run has naturally created curiosity among Telugu audiences.
However, the Telugu version is arriving after the movie has already been running successfully in other markets. This gives the Telugu release a slightly different advantage: audiences already have considerable curiosity about the film because of its unusual box-office journey.
The biggest attraction will be seeing whether the movie’s spiritual and emotional storytelling connects with Telugu audiences in the same way.
Hanuman Ansh OTT Release Date
There is currently no officially confirmed OTT release date for Hanuman Ansh.
The film is still enjoying a strong theatrical run, and its Telugu release is scheduled for October 9. Recent reports suggest that the makers have not yet finalised an OTT date, with the theatrical performance and Telugu release potentially influencing the streaming plans.
Therefore, reports claiming a specific OTT platform or streaming date should be treated as unconfirmed until an official announcement is made.
